I have been wailing and moaning and groaning that the summer is over. Which is ridiculous of course, because here in good ol sunny ( marine layer seriously, it's August...GET THE F OUT!) CA ... its pretty much summer for 99% of the year, compared to the rest of the nation.

So I'm not giving up my bikinis and my pool /rooftop bars until November AT LEAST(and have been known to go to the beach on NYE to get some color for my " outfit").
But have you noticed...? summer happy hours and drink specials ZERO. I've been updating the blog like, NOT AT ALL, and even Urban Daddy has been thin,  while Daily Candy reads like a Letterman Tope Ten list ...snore.....
Happy hours above are all GREAT and still kickin it.
. ..but I do love a bit of new-ness.
A little birdie told me about The Basement Tavern in the Victorian in Santa Monica... Happy Hour 5-8 Tuesday-Sat, & all day (3PM-2AM) Sunday, & that you can order La Vecchia in from next door at the bar until like 9 or 10 PM nightly.
