THIS JUST IN! Upper West has extended it's Monday night happy hour until 10 PM! I don't know about you but this news alert sheds a chardonnay-coloured light at the end of this torturous Monday tunnel. Now I know- Upper West is not in Venice, but its on Pico right across from my fav Trader Joes, and if you commute home onthe 405, its literally half way home. In fact, I think they should post their sign right next to the Pico EXIT sign, so that I can remember I'm just 5 minutes from a half-priced drink. Happy til 10:00 PM!
Due to the "economy" (snore) I have watched almost all of my friends either lose their jobs, hang on to the job they have/hate with all ten fingers and toes, or launch into a new adventure. We may all be poor, but what we do still love is a cold drink, warm conversation, a cute bartender and a little something to snack on. Here's to us, the economically disabled but the fun enabled.
